Terms of Service.
NyayVaani is in early access. These terms are plain on purpose — read them, and write to us if anything is unclear.
What you’re agreeing to.
By creating an account or using NyayVaani, you agree to these terms and to use the product the way it’s meant to be used — for your own legal work, on matters you’re authorized to handle.
Early access.
The product is under active development. Features change, and some rough edges are expected. Where we reasonably can, we’ll tell you about changes that affect your workflow before we ship them. Early access doesn’t carry an uptime or support guarantee beyond reasonable effort.
Your responsibilities.
- Your account
- — keep your credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account.
- Your model key
- — if you bring your own key, your use of the underlying model provider is governed by that provider’s own terms. We’re not a party to that agreement, and we don’t control what happens to requests you send them directly.
- Your judgment
- — NyayVaani cites its sources so you can verify them; it doesn’t replace your judgment as a lawyer. You remain responsible for what you file, send, or rely on.
Intellectual property.
You keep all rights to your documents and drafts. We don’t claim ownership of anything you put into or get out of NyayVaani — and we couldn’t, since we never receive the document content in the first place. The NyayVaani software, name, and marks belong to us; this agreement doesn’t transfer any of it to you beyond the right to use the product.
Disclaimers.
NyayVaani is a tool for locating and citing information in your own documents. It does not give legal advice, and nothing it outputs should be treated as legal advice. The product is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability.
To the extent the law allows, NyayVaani and its operators aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the product. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination.
You can stop using NyayVaani at any time — your documents were never on our servers to remove. We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates these terms or puts other users or the service at risk.
Governing law.
We’ll name a governing jurisdiction here before general availability. During early access, disputes are handled directly — email us and we’ll sort it out like adults.
Changes to these terms.
We may update these terms as the product matures. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions go to hello@nyayvaani.ai.
